Dholakia Tobacco Pvt. Ltd. (DTPL) is an ISO 9001 – 2000 company. DTPL offers plain, mentholated, scented, and various international flavored snuff. Moist snus is also offered in a variety of flavors. Dholakia Tobacco Pvt. Ltd. (DTPL) is the most modern snuff-manufacturing facility in India. We have originated from a 150 year old snuff manufacturing company know as the ‘Dholakia Groups’. The company is headed by Mr. Parag Dholakia, a 5th generation grand son of the Dholakia Family, who has immense experience in tobacco cultivation and developing quality snuff products, his mastery in selecting raw tobacco enables DTPL to develop a unique range of sensational snuff products.

The company is located in Sihor, a town in India known for tobacco business worldwide. We are equipped with the latest production technologies, with gigantic warehouse capacities, which helps to make our company one of the largest snuff manufacturers in India. DTPL is the only snuff manufacturing company in India having the ISO 9001-2000 certification. We follow Fair Trade Practice Standards (FTPS) and are a proud member of the Indian Tobacco Board.

Dholakia Tobacco Pvt. Ltd., from the very beginning, aims to produce quality products, which will in turn give gainful employment to workers and farmers growing tobacco in remote villages. What is Snuff ?

Tobacco leaves from the finest fields are carefully picked, dried and grounded into a powder.

Once the tobacco is ground, various essential oils are added for developing a blend in a variety of snuff tobacco flavors.

The finished snuff tobacco product is stored in airtight packaging to ensure that the flavors are well penetrated into the powdered particles. Once it is matured it is ready for use.

Snuff tobacco products are available in a number of forms ranging from dry to moist and coarse to fine. Meant to suffice individual requirements, one can pick a snuff tobacco product that stays in harmony with their individual needs.

Nasal Snuff

Nasal snuff is a finely ground flavored tobacco taken in the non-offensive form of a simple sniff into the nostrils. As snuff is becoming so popular, many have questioned its health issues. We manufacture plain snuff under the brand name “Chakali” or SPARROW GREEN label. This is a high quality tobacco snuff that is extremely effective. Plain snuff tobacco is available in a variety of packaging.

Sparrow Green Tobacco is made from specially selected tobacco leaves, which when ground, formulate into a powder, having an original tobacco taste. Enjoy Indian Tobacco in its original form. With Plain Chakali snuff tobacco you can develop your own flavors by adding the essence of your own choice.

Mentholated Snuff

Chakali Cool Blue / Sparrow blue label

Mentholated snuff products are exclusively made for mint lovers.

Chakali cool blue is an unscented pure form of Mentholated snuff tobacco. When the package of Mentholated snuff tobacco is opened, one will find a very dry snuff tobacco, in a fine powdered form, with a very light menthol flavoring. Although the grind of this form of tobacco snuff is very fine, it is easy to consume and quite enjoyable.

Perfumed Snuff

At Dholakia they produced a perfumed form of Snuff Tobacco in three different varieties. They use original/natural essences.

Ganga

This is a highly perfumed snuff tobacco product. Its fragrance is effective enough to make one feel as if they are standing in a spa. This form of tobacco has a light brown color and is ground to a very fine powder. Perfumed snuff tobacco products give a refreshing effect the moment they are inhaled.

This snuff tobacco has a rose essence, which is easy to notice once it is inhaled and slows down within a couple of seconds. This form of snuff tobacco is not very dry as it has a rose essence added to the mixture in oil form. Perfumed snuff tobacco with Ganga flavor is easy to take and is very calming.

Kamal

Manjul

Manjul powder snuff is a renowned worldwide product known for its uses as a tooth powder. Manjul flavored snuff tobacco product is developed with a defined combination of mint, clove and tobacco leaves.

When inhaled it hits the nose with a sharp burst, that lasts, for about a second. Here one does not need to blow the nose as it clears the sinuses nicely. It contains an average amount of nicotine content. It quiets downs once it is hit, leaving a peasant feeling and fragrance of mild clove/tobacco aroma.
