Go back Our CatchDry Eucalyptus, White Mini Portion ReviewLaunched in 2000 and made by Swedish Match AB in Göteborg, Sweden, CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini portion snus is classified as a Dry White Mini type portion. White type portions are basically portions that do not go thru the added step at the end of the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to them which leaves the material dry. The Mini type tells you that the portion is roughly half the size of a regular type and the Dry type means that the snus inside has less moisture than a standard White type. While the material is a bit dryer than a regular type, Swedish Match uses the same soft material they use in most of their portion snus and is pretty comfortable in the lip for as long as the flavor lasts which is around an hour and a half. Each can of CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini contains 20 portions that have .3 grams of snus each and 4 mg of Nicotine per portion. CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini’s can is made of grey plastic with a paper/foil label that gives the can a modern, classy look and yes, there is a used portion compartment in the lid but, enough about the can, on to the flavor! CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini’s flavor is unique but unknown to some Americans, especially those who have never tasted Eucalyptus. So, we’ll do our best to describe what CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini tastes like. While most people think of medicines or cough drops when they hear Eucalyptus, this is not the case here. CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini has the same flavor as its full sized White sibling Catch White Eucalyptus which is a minty flavor that is a cross between Wintergreen and Peppermint with a sweet, citrus flavor in the background. The Eucalyptus is actually a light menthol taste that gives the same subtle burn in the lip as Wintergreen flavored snus would give. The combination of the minty flavor, citrus and light menthol taste gives CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini a great taste as well as another unique element, the scent in the can. CatchDry Eucalyptus Mini is one of a few snus brands that has no ammonia scent! The only thing you smell is the minty, menthol aromas with a hint of sweetness that comes from the citrus.
