Go back Our Offroad Original, Loose ReviewManufactured by V2 Tobacco, Offroad Original loose snus is classified as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarse ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand shape it. The prilla made with a 3 ml tool kept its shape for about 2 hours before it began to fall apart and the one we made by hand lasted about 1 ½ hours before it broke up but flavor felt like it could last much longer! Each can of Offroad Original contains 45 grams of snus and a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic, both bottom and top, and makes a great seal that doesn’t accidently pop open when in your pocket but you came here to read about the taste not the can so, let’s talk flavors! V2 wanted Offroad Original to have a flavor that would be unique in the Swedish snus world and we believe they achieved that goal. Flavors of tobacco and citrus take the main stage with Offroad Original and very little in the way of a salty taste. The unique element in Offroad Original is the fact that the flavors are subtle. By subtle we mean that you can taste the flavors well but it’s not strong like its portion sibling. The flavors in Offroad loose are pretty mild and makes, what we feel, the perfect loose snus for not only the beginning loose user, because of its light flavor and ease of hand baking, and the seasoned one as well! So, if you’re looking for a Swedish snus that has a mild tobacco taste with a touch of sweetness and lasts a long time, Offroad Original portion snus is the one but, we’ll let you decide.
